A special word from Loren Meyer: "The year 2020 is one that will be talked about for years to come. The Covid virus affected many of us personally, and affected our ability to do many of the things we normally would, from showing our horses to making a living. Everyone was affected in one or more ways. But a hard working group of dedicated committee workers refused to use this as an excuse, and went forward with plans to make the 2020 show bigger and better than the 2019 show. Many wondered how many stallions we would get nominated. In 2019, there were 103 stallions nominated. And in 2020, we again ended up with 103 stallions nominated, exceeding the expectations of many. These stallion owners are seeing the value of the program. Along with these stallion owners stepping up in these difficult times, our sponsors did the same. Without these sponsors it would be very difficult to put on a show of this magnitude in the way the committee felt the show deserved. These sponsors had reduced incomes in 2020, but yet still chose to help sponsor this event, because like the stallion owners, they see the value in the program. We can not thank them enough. We ask that when you see someone from this sponsor list, please thank them. And we ask that when you are making your decisions on buying products or services, please consider those who have stepped up to support this program which we all believe in."
